# Image Transform Service

> HTTP API for converting raster images, extracting pixel crops, resizing JPEGs, generating thumbnails, and normalizing uploads. Successful image requests return binary image bytes.

Production base URL: https://image-transform.sandervspl.dev
Alternative base URL: https://image-service.sandervspl.dev
For local development, use the origin printed by `pnpm run dev`. Resolve the links below against the API origin.

Read the API guide before making requests. Every image operation requires `Authorization: Bearer <IMAGE_SERVICE_TOKEN>` supplied by the service owner. Documentation and `GET /health` are public.

Use `POST /convert` to change format, `POST /crop` to extract a rectangle without resizing, `POST /transform` to resize a JPEG to exact dimensions, `POST /thumbnail` for a preview, and `POST /normalize` for upload normalization. JSON operations accept standard base64 without a data URL prefix; `/normalize` accepts raw image bytes. Check the HTTP status before saving the binary response; errors use plain text.
